Realio Network Hacked: 124.4M RIO Tokens Stolen in Major Security Breach

Share

The Realio Network, a layer-one blockchain platform focused on tokenized real-world assets, has suspended its chain and restricted access to its web application after thieves stole approximately 124.4 million RIO tokens.

According to initial findings, the majority of the stolen tokens, around 113.7 million RIO, were held by the Realio Foundation and had not been part of the previously reported circulating supply.

The team halted the chain and blocked web app access to prevent further losses, but has yet to announce a compensation plan for affected users or details on securing remaining token custody.
