Reap and Visa Expand Stablecoin Credit Card Programs Globally
Singapore-based fintech Reap and Visa have teamed up to expand their collaboration on stablecoin-linked credit card programs across over 100 markets.
The expanded program will allow businesses, platforms, and fintechs to build card programs that use stablecoins for funding, repaying balances, and cross-border payments, subject to local regulatory requirements.
This move builds on Reap's recent efforts to make bitcoin and other virtual-asset balances spendable through card infrastructure. The company has also launched Reap Sentry, a managed fraud-risk service for card programs.
The Visa collaboration marks the first pathway for stablecoin-linked credit card issuance across more than 100 markets using Reap's infrastructure.
