RedotPay Completes Financial Audit Amid $5 Billion Valuation Push

Share

Hong Kong-based RedotPay has completed its financial audit and compliance review, moving one step closer to a potential US initial public offering (IPO). The company's CEO and co-founder, Michael Gao, stated that these audits aim to build confidence in the firm's financial reporting and compliance standards.

The audit was handled by Big Four accounting firms, which RedotPay declined to identify. The review of its anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing controls also addressed a significant regulatory dimension in the crypto payments sector.

RedotPay operates an app that lets users hold stablecoins, spend them through a linked Visa card, and transfer funds across borders. As of July, the platform reported 8.5 million users. The company is targeting a valuation above $5 billion.
