Reform Party Lands £72 Million Crypto Donations Amid Concerns Over Influence

The Reform party has received £72 million in donations from two British crypto-billionaires. Robert Jenrick, a key figure in the party, claims that these donations are 'perfectly legal' and 'entirely in line with the law as it is and with the law in the future'. The donors, Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo, had been living outside of the UK until this year.

Labour's housing secretary, Angela Rayner, expressed concern that the huge donations could lead to the party being seen as 'the plaything of people who are wealthy and disconnected from everyday life to a degree almost unimaginable to most voters'. She also warned that if the new law limiting foreign influence in UK politics is passed, the party may have to return the money.

Rayner believes that the huge donations have put a spotlight on 'mega-wealthy individuals and who is funding politics' in the UK. The Reform party plans to use these funds to expand its electoral machine and field candidates in every seat.
