Reform UK has secured a record-breaking donation from Ben Delo, a co-founder of BitMEX and prominent figure in the UK crypto scene. According to reports, Delo donated £36 million (approximately $49 million) to Nigel Farage's Reform UK party.

This massive contribution is described as the largest single donation ever made to a British political party. Delo stated that his intention was to ensure a 'fair fight' in the upcoming elections.

The donation comes amid an ongoing debate in the UK about regulating crypto-related donations and their potential influence on elections. Earlier this year, Farage resigned from his position as a Member of Parliament after being accused of accepting large sums of money from crypto-linked donors.
