Reform UK's £72m Crypto Donations Caught in New Legislation

Reform UK's record-breaking £72m in donations from two crypto billionaires could be caught by new legislation, according to Labour MP Angela Rayner.

The government has been criticized for not acting sooner to restrict domestic donations, with several MPs believing they should have adopted an amendment by Labour's Stella Creasy to the Representation of the People Bill.

Rayner said that while the bill will apply retrospectively from March 25th, it was always the government's intention for the changes to be retrospective.
