Remittix Brings Crypto-to-Bank Payments to the Forefront
Remittix, a blockchain-based project, is pushing the boundaries of crypto-to-bank payments with its PayFi service. Building on the work of Chainlink and Swift, which demonstrated the connection of tokenized assets to existing payment systems, Remittix is giving 1,000 existing RTX holders access to test PayFi transfers in EUR and USD. The project's goal is to make it easy for customers to convert supported crypto into fiat currency, which can then be deposited into a bank account.
Remittix is part of a larger effort to bridge the gap between digital and traditional finance. Chainlink and Swift have already explored the connection of tokenized assets to existing payment systems, and Swift is developing a separate bank-focused ledger initiative. This work is critical, as more and more value exists on multiple ledgers, while real customers and businesses still rely on bank accounts.
The Remittix PayFi service is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, allowing customers to navigate the process of converting crypto into fiat currency. The project is building a surrounding ecosystem, including an iOS wallet, Markets, and Earn, which will enable customers to manage their funds and make payments seamlessly. With over $32 million raised toward its $36 million cap, Remittix is poised to debut its RTX token on November 24.
