Remittix Launches PayFi Trial Ahead of November Debut
Remittix is preparing for its launch with a trial run of its PayFi service. The project has invited 1,000 existing RTX holders to test EUR and USD payment options ahead of its November 24 debut. This trial aims to streamline the crypto-to-bank journey, combining a wallet, trading venue, and payment route into a single customer experience.
Ethereum remains a key platform for stablecoins and decentralized applications, with ETH trading around $2,720 on October 5. The Glamsterdam roadmap highlights ongoing network upgrades to improve capacity and performance. However, practical applications that solve real-world problems are crucial for the ecosystem's growth.
Remittix PayFi is designed to accept supported crypto and deliver fiat through compatible banking routes. The trial involves 1,000 holders out of over 40,000 presale participants, providing valuable feedback before a broader rollout. The World Bank estimates global remittance flows at $856 billion in 2024, making even a small share of this market significant.
Remittix has raised over $32 million toward its $36 million hard cap, with a final presale tier priced at $0.46. The project aims to prove that a single app can link holding, trading, and international payment needs. If the trial users become repeat PayFi customers, RTX could enter exchanges with a developing business rather than an untested product.
