Remittix Markets Nears RTX Launch with $50 Million in Trades
Solana’s ecosystem continues to attract attention as trading platforms compete for user retention and liquidity. With SOL trading near $121 on October 5, a return to $200 would require a roughly 65% increase, prompting traders to seek sustained volume and network activity. One emerging platform, Remittix Markets, has already processed over $50 million in cumulative trading volume ahead of its planned November 24 RTX debut.
Remittix is also introducing PayFi, a service designed to convert supported crypto into fiat and deliver it to compatible bank accounts. The platform has invited 1,000 holders from a presale community of over 40,000 to test initial EUR and USD options. This dual offering could enhance user retention by providing both trading and payment solutions within the same ecosystem.
The Remittix iOS wallet has reported over 10,000 downloads, while its Earn feature is approaching release with up to 22% APY on eligible assets. If traders adopt these services, Remittix could establish itself as a significant player before RTX’s launch. The platform has raised over $32 million toward a $36 million cap, with a final presale tier priced at $0.46.
As Solana’s Alpenglow initiative aims to improve network performance, the success of platforms like Remittix will depend on their ability to attract and retain users. With global remittances reaching an estimated $856 billion in 2024, PayFi’s potential to capture even a small portion of these flows could further solidify Remittix’s position in the market.
