Remittix Momentum Grows as Bitwise's Dogecoin ETF Fails to Attract Sustained Assets
Bitwise's Dogecoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), known as BWOW, is shutting down after only ten months. The fund will officially close on October 14, marking a disappointing end to its run. Despite launching with considerable curiosity surrounding regulated access to meme coins, BWOW failed to attract sustained assets and held around $473,000 by mid-year.
The closure of the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF highlights that brand strength does not automatically guarantee durable institutional demand. Dogecoin itself remains one of crypto's most recognizable assets, trading near $0.085 after briefly testing $0.091. However, it demonstrates a need for a fresh catalyst to break out of its current technical range.
On the other hand, Remittix is gaining momentum as it approaches the end of its presale. With payments, perpetual trading, a mobile wallet, and planned earning tools forming one ecosystem, Remittix offers multiple reasons for users to stay engaged. The platform's utility extends beyond transfers, with over 50 crypto pairs and 30 fiat currencies available, giving it a clear everyday use case.
Remittix is currently listed at $0.21 before a planned $0.23 stage, with 82.72% sold and the sale nearing completion. The official launch date will be revealed once funding reaches $32 million, providing buyers with a defined catalyst rather than an indefinite roadmap.
