Remittix Poised to Challenge XRP and Ethereum as Payments Ecosystem Takes Shape
The cryptocurrency market has seen a surge in interest since September's recovery, sparking debate about which assets are primed for growth. Two of the top contenders, XRP and Ethereum, have different strengths that set them apart from one another. While XRP has reclaimed $1.60 for the first time since February, thanks to increased network attention and large-wallet activity, Ethereum offers a broader infrastructure thesis with its smart-contract ecosystem.
However, a new player has entered the fray: Remittix. This early-stage project is building a payments ecosystem that combines crypto-to-bank transfers, a live trading venue, and a wallet into one destination. By doing so, it aims to generate greater percentage growth from a smaller starting base than its larger competitors.
Remittix's PayFi system bridges the gap between holding cryptocurrency and receiving spendable money in a bank account across supported destinations and more than 30 fiat currencies. Its iOS wallet has surpassed 10,000 reported downloads, and Remittix Markets is already live for trading hundreds of crypto perpetual pairs, recording millions in volume.
