Remittix Prepares for PayFi Launch with 1,000-Strong Test Group
Remittix, a cryptocurrency project, has invited 1,000 existing RTX holders to test its PayFi service ahead of its planned November 24 token launch. PayFi aims to connect crypto holdings with bank money, making it easier for users to transfer funds to their bank accounts.
The project's presale has drawn over 40,000 participants, with more than $32 million raised towards its $36 million hard cap. The wallet and Markets venue already allow users to hold and trade cryptocurrencies, but PayFi adds a new feature that makes the ecosystem more useful to users.
The first phase of PayFi testing offers EUR and USD options to the invited test group. The project's goal is to create a smooth, repeatable experience that will encourage users to return for future transfers and refer others to the service.
Remittix has estimated that even a small fraction of global remittance flows could amount to hundreds of millions in annual payments, with recurring network fees building as the service expands.
