Remittix Prepares for RTX Launch as XRP ETFs Gain Attention
While XRP ETF headlines are drawing attention to the payments-focused cryptocurrency, Remittix is quietly building its own momentum with a different approach. The company is preparing for a key milestone: inviting 1,000 existing holders to test its crypto-to-bank PayFi service before the planned November 24 debut of its RTX token. This event could demonstrate whether the service turns into a sustainable customer habit.
Remittix is developing an app that allows users to hold, trade, and receive fiat through compatible banking routes. Unlike XRP, which already has an established audience and institutional payment narrative, RTX is approaching exchanges with a smaller starting base but multiple products that could attract different user groups.
XRP ETF interest can bring the token to conventional investors, but sustained demand and wider market conditions will ultimately determine its price trajectory. XRP traded near $1.50 on October 5, and a $3 target would require roughly doubling from recent prices. Ripple's cross-border payments business adds another layer to the XRP story, with institutional relationships and real payment activity playing crucial roles in demand.
Remittix PayFi is designed to convert supported crypto into fiat via compatible bank routes. The project has invited 1,000 holders from a presale community of over 40,000 to test initial EUR and USD options. With global remittances reaching $856 billion in 2024, capturing even a fraction of this market could mean substantial transfer volume for a successful app.
The Remittix iOS wallet has over 10,000 reported downloads, and Remittix Markets has handled over $50 million in cumulative trading volume. The combination of trading and payments features could create a recurring customer relationship, reinforcing interest in RTX beyond single news events.
As of now, Remittix has raised over $32 million toward a $36 million cap, with a planned November 24 RTX launch. If the wallet, Markets, and PayFi features begin reinforcing one another, the investment conversation around RTX could shift significantly after exchange trading begins.
