Remittix RTX Token to Launch Amid Payment-Focused Frenzy
Bitcoin and Ethereum, two of the largest cryptocurrencies, continue to be in high demand thanks to the introduction of exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These funds provide traditional investors with a familiar route into crypto, keeping the two tokens central to the market's next rally. Meanwhile, Remittix, a payment-focused cryptocurrency, is approaching a milestone of its own: the launch of its RTX token on November 24.
Remittix's PayFi system aims to connect supported crypto with fiat currency through compatible banking routes. A thousand existing RTX holders have been invited to test the system's EUR and USD options. If users return for routine cross-border payments, the system could generate significant revenue through fees.
The World Bank estimates that global remittances will reach $856 billion in 2024. A fraction of this market could put nearly a billion dollars of payments through Remittix's system in a year, potentially producing millions in fees. Remittix also reports over 10,000 iOS wallet downloads and more than $50 million in cumulative Markets volume.
The project's presale has raised over $32 million toward its $36 million cap, with more than 40,000 participants. The final presale stage will be priced at $0.46, and the RTX token is set to launch on November 24.
