Remittix Seeks to Disrupt Traditional Remittance Market Amid Crypto Volatility
Rising Treasury yields are causing investors to become more selective, leading to increased volatility in the cryptocurrency market. Cardano (ADA) and Chainlink (LINK) are among the affected assets, with their prices responding to the broader contest for capital. Despite having development stories to follow, ADA and LINK's prices are still subject to yield-driven fluctuations.
Remittix, a blockchain-based remittance service, is attempting to capture a larger share of the market by providing a user-friendly experience. The company has raised over $32 million from more than 40,000 participants toward its $36 million hard cap, and its token, RTX, is currently priced at $0.23. The PayFi app, which converts supported crypto into fiat payouts through compatible bank accounts, is being tested by the first 1,000 invited users.
Remittix's goal is to make supported digital assets arrive as fiat through compatible bank routes across more than 30 target currencies. The company's ecosystem includes an iOS wallet, a trading venue called Remittix Markets, and a planned feature called Remittix Earn, which offers yields up to 22% APY on eligible holdings. By providing a rebuilt wallet that unites payments, trading, and earning, Remittix aims to keep customers engaged and attract repeat business.
