Remittix Tests PayFi as NEAR Protocol Seeks Price Momentum
NEAR Protocol's recent price fluctuations have refocused attention on its real-world applications, particularly as Remittix gears up for a key customer event. The project is inviting 1,000 existing holders to test its initial EUR and USD PayFi options, while the RTX token remains in presale. Remittix aims to integrate holding, trading, and fiat payouts into a single customer experience, potentially differentiating itself from established networks like NEAR.
NEAR's price, which hovered around $4.90 on October 5, would need to climb roughly 43% to reach $7, a move supported by renewed demand and application growth. The protocol's chain abstraction approach seeks to simplify cross-network applications, which could bolster its long-term viability if developers create widely used products.
Remittix PayFi is designed to convert supported cryptocurrencies into fiat delivered through compatible bank routes. With over 10,000 downloads of its iOS wallet and more than $50 million in cumulative trading volume on Remittix Markets, the project is positioning itself to capture a share of the $856 billion global remittances market. The RTX token, intended for settlement and staking, is set to debut on November 24, 2026.
If Remittix successfully integrates its wallet, Markets, and PayFi services into a seamless customer experience, RTX could enter exchanges with multiple commercial pathways already in development. The project has raised over $32 million toward a $36 million hard cap, with the final presale tier priced at $0.46.
