Remittix Tests PayFi Service Amid Shift in Dogecoin Price Prediction
Remittix, a crypto project, is testing its PayFi service by allowing 1,000 existing RTX holders to transfer supported cryptocurrency into fiat through compatible bank routes. The initial test includes EUR and USD options, with more than 40,000 community members reportedly holding RTX tokens.
The move comes as Dogecoin's (DOGE) price prediction takes a fresh turn following Bitwise's decision to close its DOGE ETF. While DOGE still commands a significant audience, the news highlights the importance of recurring product use in maintaining investor attention.
Remittix's PayFi service aims to solve a real-world problem by facilitating seamless cryptocurrency-to-fiat transactions. The project has also released an iOS wallet with over 10,000 downloads, potentially serving as an entry point for users who first come to manage crypto and later discover how to receive fiat.
The RTX token is set to debut on November 24, with a final presale tier at $0.46 and a hard cap of $36 million. More than $32 million has been raised so far.
