Remittix Tests PayFi Service to Convert Stablecoins to Fiat
Tether's USDT stablecoin has emerged as a key tool for digital dollar transactions, with its circulation highlighting the broader utility of crypto beyond speculation. However, a critical gap remains: converting digital balances into usable bank funds. Remittix is addressing this with its PayFi service, currently in testing with invited holders, offering EUR and USD options.
Remittix aims to integrate this conversion into a comprehensive app, allowing users to manage assets, trade, and connect crypto to banking routes. If successful, the platform could attract a larger audience beyond presale buyers, potentially positioning RTX as a key player in stablecoin-to-fiat conversions.
As of June 2026, Tether reported approximately $184.6 billion in USDT issued, underscoring the massive scale of stablecoin adoption. The World Bank estimated global remittances at $856 billion in 2024, presenting a substantial opportunity for services like Remittix to capture recurring fee income from cross-border payments.
Remittix has already seen over 10,000 iOS wallet downloads and more than $50 million in cumulative trading volume. With over 40,000 presale participants and $32 million raised toward a $36 million hard cap, the project is poised for its RTX token launch on November 24, 2026.
