Remittix Tests PayFi with 1,000 Holders Ahead of November Launch
Remittix, a platform focused on cryptocurrency-to-bank payments, is testing its PayFi application with its first 1,000 existing holders. This group was invited to test the service, which allows users to fund transfers with cryptocurrency and receive fiat in a compatible bank account. The test is a precursor to the wider rollout of PayFi, which is expected to be available to the public after November 24.
The project's goal is to turn its presale community into a growing base of payments users. With over 40,000 people participating in the presale, the potential for this community to drive adoption and revenue is significant. According to the World Bank, global remittances are projected to reach $856 billion in 2024, offering a massive market opportunity for Remittix.
RTX, the settlement and staking token for Remittix's network, stands to benefit from a growing payments business. As more participants join the network and use the PayFi service, demand for RTX could increase, attracting investors seeking exposure to the token.
Remittix has already raised over $32 million toward its $36 million hard cap and has announced a $0.46 final presale tier. The company's success will depend on its ability to retain customers and collect fees, providing a clear use case for RTX and driving adoption.
