Remittix's $4M Funding Window Looms as Cardano Consolidates
Cardano's ADA price has been stuck in consolidation mode, but there's a different clock ticking for Remittix, a project that's raised over $32 million toward its $36 million presale cap. With just $4 million left to reach the hard cap, the project is counting down to its November 24 debut of PayFi, a service that will allow users to convert supported cryptocurrencies into fiat via compatible bank accounts.
Remittix has already invited 1,000 existing holders to test initial EUR and USD PayFi transfers, with the goal of creating a recurring payment flow that could bring in significant transfer fees. The project's iOS wallet has seen 10,000 reported downloads, and Remittix Markets has exceeded $50 million in cumulative trading volume.
Meanwhile, Cardano buyers are waiting to see if network and market activity can bring the price out of consolidation. A return to $0.50 would be a significant move, while $1 would require a sustained change in demand. Cardano's Dijkstra consensus work is also a key technical development to monitor, as it can expand what developers can build on the network.
