Remixpoint Abandons Altcoins for Bitcoin-Only Strategy
Japanese firm Remixpoint has made significant changes to its cryptocurrency holdings, opting for a Bitcoin-only strategy. In a recent announcement, the company revealed that it sold off all of its altcoins, including over 1.19 million XRP, on September 1. The sales brought in a total profit of ¥117.8 million.
The move comes after Remixpoint decided to focus its cryptocurrency portfolio solely on Bitcoin. This decision was made based on market conditions and the company's financial strategy. As a result, Remixpoint now holds approximately 1,506 BTC, worth over $117 million today.
Notably, Remixpoint made a profit of ¥11.52 million from selling its XRP holdings. The company sold the XRP for ¥260.43 million, having originally paid ¥248.90 million for them. This sale is part of a larger financial strategy aimed at strengthening the company's finances and increasing value for shareholders.
