Remixpoint Ditches Altcoins for All-Bitcoin Strategy
Japanese-listed company Remixpoint has made a bold move in its crypto strategy by selling off all of its altcoin holdings and focusing solely on Bitcoin. The decision, which was announced on September 1, resulted in the sale of approximately $5.54 million worth of Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE) assets.
The company's crypto portfolio now consists entirely of Bitcoin, with a total of roughly 1,506 BTC held. This move marks a significant shift in Remixpoint's strategy, as it previously maintained a diversified digital asset portfolio that included staking income from Ethereum and Solana.
The decision to hold only Bitcoin was made after the company realized that its staking returns were not sufficient to justify holding onto its altcoin positions. With the sale of its altcoins, Remixpoint has booked a profit of approximately $743,270.
