Remixpoint Jumps All-In on Bitcoin After Selling Altcoins for $5.5 Million
Remixpoint, a Japanese company, has made significant changes to its cryptocurrency portfolio. The company sold all of its Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE) holdings on September 1, generating ¥878.8 million ($5.5 million). This sale resulted in a net gain of ¥117.8 million ($737,000).
The company's treasury now consists entirely of Bitcoin (BTC), with approximately 1,506.23 BTC worth around $121 million as of September 3. Remixpoint has been accumulating Bitcoin throughout the year, adding about 90 BTC to its holdings in 2026.
The decision to concentrate its cryptocurrency exposure in Bitcoin was made after considering market conditions and the risk-return profile of each asset. The company's broader financial strategy also played a role in this decision.
