Revolut Faces $3M Monero Ransom Threat Over Customer Data
A group calling itself iamnotavillain has demanded $3 million in Monero from Revolut, threatening to sell hundreds of customers' identity documents and transaction records if it's not paid within 24 hours.
The hackers claimed they used blockchain analysis to find Revolut accounts with large crypto holdings before making their demand for 6,000 XMR.
Revolut has stated that it has received no direct contact or demand from the individuals or group making these claims, and has called the number of affected customers 'limited.'
