Revolut Hackers Demand $3 Million in Monero After Customer Data Breach

A hacking incident at Revolut has left customers concerned about their data safety after the attackers demanded $3 million in Monero within 24 hours.

According to reports, the hackers claimed they had obtained sensitive information from at least 680 customers, including IDs, passports, self-taken photos for verification, addresses, and transactional details.

The attack is believed to have originated from an Italian government email account, which the hackers used to impersonate law enforcement officials.

Revolut has stated that it did not receive a direct ransom demand but confirmed that the attackers had accessed customer data.
