REX Launches Leveraged ETF Tied to Publicly Traded Bitcoin Holder Strive
Financial services firm REX and investment manager Tuttle Capital Management have launched a new 2x leveraged exchange-traded fund (ETF) tied to Strive, a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company. The T-REX 2X Long ASST Daily Target ETF began trading on Friday under the ticker ASSX on Cboe.
The fund aims to deliver twice the daily performance of Strive's share price before fees and expenses. It resets its leverage daily, which means returns over periods longer than one trading day can differ significantly from twice the performance of Strive shares.
Unlike spot Bitcoin ETFs, ASSX does not hold Bitcoin or seek to track its price. Instead, it provides leveraged exposure to Strive shares. The firms also offer 2x ETFs linked to other companies, including Strategy, BitMine, Cipher Mining, Circle, and SharpLink.
