Ric Edelman Predicts Bitcoin Will Reach $500,000 by 2030

Veteran financial advisor Ric Edelman predicts that Bitcoin could soar to $500,000 by 2030. He likens its current stage to Amazon in 1999, when the e-commerce giant was still years away from reaching its later scale.

Edelman noted that back in 1999, people were arguing over whether to invest in Amazon, and he expects a similar path for Bitcoin as adoption expands and the asset gains broader acceptance over the long term. The analogy is centered on adoption, not on the two assets having identical investment profiles.

Edelman's $500,000 figure is based on his assumptions about future investment flows. He assumes that investors worldwide could eventually dedicate about 1% of their portfolio holdings to BTC, which would lead to a price rise of roughly $500,000 per coin. His forecast is relatively conservative compared with some of the more aggressive Bitcoin predictions circulating in the market.

At current prices around $76,633, Bitcoin would need to surge approximately 552% to reach Edelman's target. This is a significant move from its record high set in October 2025 and current level.
