Riot Platforms Repays $200M Credit Facility, Releases Collateral
Riot Platforms, a major Bitcoin miner, has made significant progress in its financial management by repaying a $200 million credit facility. This achievement was facilitated by the release of collateral held in Coinbase Custody Trust Company's custody.
The facility had been secured with a pledge of Riot's assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), USDC, and cash. By repaying the principal and interest on Monday, Riot has successfully resolved its obligations under this agreement.
This development comes as Riot continues to expand its data-center business, demonstrating the company's adaptability and resilience in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency landscape.
