Riot Platforms has completed an early repayment of its $200 million credit facility with Coinbase Credit, terminating the agreement seven months ahead of schedule. The payoff released approximately 5,821 BTC, valued at around $340.7 million as of June, from collateral.

The company originally struck a deal with Coinbase Credit in April 2025 for a $100 million Bitcoin-backed loan, which was upsized to $200 million just one month later. An amendment in April 2026 locked in a fixed annual interest rate of 6.15%.

The released BTC represents about 51% of Riot's total Bitcoin holdings, which stood at 11,380 BTC as of June 30, 2026. With the debt wiped from its books and the collateral returned, Riot now has more flexibility with its Bitcoin strategy.
