Riot Platforms has successfully repaid a $200 million Bitcoin-backed credit facility ahead of its scheduled maturity date, according to Cointelegraph.

The company cleared the facility early while focusing on expanding its data center business for artificial intelligence workloads. This repayment was confirmed in a regulatory filing and incurred no early termination fees or penalties.

The $200 million facility provided by Coinbase Credit was secured by assets including Bitcoin, USDC, and cash held through Coinbase Custody Trust Company.

Riot's decision to repay the outstanding balance removes the associated collateral requirements. The company had previously described the credit facility as part of its efforts to diversify financing sources and support corporate and strategic initiatives.
