RIOT Stock Blasts Off to 4-Year High on Nuclear-Powered Data Center Deal
Riot Platforms' stock reached a four-year high on Wednesday after the company announced a partnership with Terrestrial Energy to develop nuclear-powered data centers.
The deal allows Riot to build data centers for AI workloads, high-performance computing, and Bitcoin mining using IMSR reactor technology from Terrestrial Energy.
The project aims to scale up to 4 gigawatts of nuclear capacity, with deployment expected in the early 2030s.
Riot's stock gained over 12% to hit $23.64, its highest level since March 2022.
