Ripple Adds MPP Support to XRPL AI Starter Kit

Ripple has expanded its XRPL AI Starter Kit to support Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) and Open Wallet Standard, giving developers another way to make AI agents pay for data, computing, and other online services using crypto.

The updated version 1.1 of the kit adds support for MPP, which allows AI agents to authorize payment and receive resources from services that respond to requests with prices.

Ripple has also added x402 standard in June, backing both rather than betting on either. The company's goal is to make $XRP and $RLUSD first-class options wherever developers are building.
