Ripple and Brevan Howard Expand Prime Brokerage Services Agreement
Ripple and Brevan Howard have deepened their partnership, with Ripple Prime set to provide expanded multi-asset prime brokerage services to the global alternative investment manager. Announced on October 6, 2026, the agreement allows Brevan Howard to access brokerage, clearing, and financing services across both traditional and digital markets through a single platform.
Ripple Prime, which emerged from Ripple’s acquisition of Hidden Road in 2025, offers institutional investors a suite of services including trade execution, clearing, financing, and risk management. Noel Kimmel, President of Ripple Prime, highlighted the significance of the deal, stating that Brevan Howard’s trust reflects Ripple Prime’s competitive position and cross-asset capabilities.
Brevan Howard’s Group COO Alan McGroarty emphasized the growing integration of digital and traditional markets, noting that Ripple’s platform will enhance operational efficiency and capital management for Brevan Howard’s investment teams. The companies did not disclose financial details of the agreement.
The expanded relationship builds on an existing connection, as Brevan Howard participated in Ripple’s $500 million funding round in 2025, which valued Ripple at $40 billion. While Ripple’s broader infrastructure includes XRP and RLUSD, the announcement did not specify whether Brevan Howard will use these assets under the new arrangement.
