Ripple Bolsters Tokenization Ecosystem with ZILO and Licuido Investments
Ripple recently invested in ZILO and Licuido to strengthen its tokenization ecosystem. This move is part of Ripple's effort to provide a post-issuance utility for institutional assets on the XRP Ledger.
The investment in ZILO targets digital transfer agency and fund administration technology, enabling asset managers and custodians to maintain modern record-keeping for tokenized share classes. Licuido focuses on the issuance, distribution, and execution of traditional financial assets, allowing them to function as digital collateral through on-chain atomic settlement infrastructure.
The total inflows into XRP spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in July were $27.29 million, marking the seventh consecutive month of positive investor demand since the products launched.
