Ripple Brings Crypto to the Swamp with Florida University Deal

Florida has signed a multiyear sponsorship deal with Ripple that includes placing field logos in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, also known as 'The Swamp', according to a person familiar with the negotiations. The agreement will generate $5 million annually for the university.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by either side, but a person with knowledge of the negotiations confirmed the annual payout to be $5 million.

Ripple provides blockchain solutions across traditional and new markets.
