Ripple Brings Regulatory Clarity to Stablecon USA
Ripple is set to attend Stablecon USA in Washington D.C. from September 9-11, just days before the closely watched Senate vote on the CLARITY Act on September 15.
The company's stablecoin business has made significant progress in recent years, with Ripple USD having a circulating supply of approximately $2.40 billion as of September 3, backed by around $2.52 billion of reserve assets.
RLUSD is not waiting for Congress to define its regulatory status, as it has already been approved for issuance in New York and maintains segregated reserves and 1:1 dollar redemption under NYDFS requirements.
Ripple has also pursued its own banking infrastructure, with the OCC granting conditional approval for Ripple National Trust Bank in December 2025. The charter is not yet final authorization to open the bank, but it would place RLUSD reserve operations under federal OCC oversight alongside existing New York supervision.
