Ripple Brings XRP Branding to Florida Gators' Stadium

Ripple has signed a multi-year marketing deal with the University of Florida to feature the XRP logo on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, as well as on digital properties and event signage. This move is part of Ripple's ongoing effort to increase visibility for its cryptocurrency in college sports.

The deal comes after Ripple previously partnered with the University of Kansas Jayhawks basketball program to place the XRP logo on their jerseys earlier this year. Florida Athletics Director Scott Stricklin stated, 'Florida has a long history of embracing innovation and technology to enhance the experience of our fans and advance our programs.' He added that Ripple is an 'innovative leader in financial technology' and they are excited to welcome XRP to Gator Nation.

Ripple will also be committing resources to support financial and technology education for student-athletes and the broader campus community. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, this move is seen as a way for Ripple to increase its mainstream visibility.
