Ripple CEO: Dutch Central Bank Transfer Highlights Crypto's Efficiency

Share

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently highlighted an interesting use case for cryptocurrencies. According to him, the Dutch Central Bank spent several months transferring $11 billion worth of gold, which he believes is a perfect example of how cryptocurrencies can be used.

The transfer was done in a traditional manner, with physical gold being moved from one location to another. This process would be much faster and more efficient if cryptocurrencies were used instead. Garlinghouse pointed out that this would have saved the Dutch Central Bank a significant amount of time and resources.

This use case highlights the potential benefits of using cryptocurrencies in financial transactions, particularly when it comes to large-scale transfers like the one mentioned by the Dutch Central Bank.
