Ripple Expands Corporate Treasury Strategy with XRP and RLUSD

Ripple is expanding its corporate treasury strategy to include XRP and RLUSD for payroll, cross-border transfers, and liquidity management. In a recent post, Ripple emphasized that digital assets are no longer viewed solely as speculative instruments by corporate finance teams.

Renaat Ver Eecke, senior vice president of Ripple Treasury, stated that finance teams have shifted from asking whether to use digital assets to focusing on deployment without disrupting existing treasury operations. According to a survey conducted by Ripple in April 2026, 72% of finance leaders believe they must offer a digital asset solution to remain competitive.

XRP and RLUSD serve different functions within corporate treasuries: XRP trades freely in open markets, while RLUSD targets a one-dollar value and remains redeemable against U.S. dollars. Ripple's treasury platform combines traditional cash-management functions with digital asset access, and the company has selected Bank of New York Mellon as primary custodian for RLUSD reserves.
