Ripple Expands Stablecoin Infrastructure Amid XRP Price Volatility
Ripple, the company behind XRP, continues to expand its stablecoin infrastructure. The latest development is Ripple Mint, an institutional platform for RLUSD, which was launched on July 23rd. This platform gives companies a single point to mint, redeem, bridge, and manage RLUSD.
The launch targets businesses that need automated stablecoin access for payments, treasury management, and trading operations. Companies can use a standard interface or connect their internal systems through APIs and webhook notifications.
Ripple also announced a strategic investment in Notabene, a compliance infrastructure provider. The two firms plan to integrate RLUSD into Notabene Flow, a business-to-business stablecoin payments platform that connects over 2,300 institutions across more than 100 jurisdictions and processes about $2 trillion in annualized transaction volume.
XRP Ledger AI transactions have reached a new milestone, surpassing 1.4 million transactions initiated by AI agents on July 22nd. The XRP Ledger has also seen rising AI-agent activity, with data from the XRPL AI Hub showing over 129 participating merchants at the time of the report.
Binance introduced new incentives for RLUSD users, offering a variable return of up to 22.25% and weekly rewards in XRP for eligible holdings or trades through Binance Earn and Margin products.
