Ripple Expands XRP and RLUSD Use Cases in Corporate Treasury
Ripple has expanded its efforts to position XRP and RLUSD as integral components of corporate treasury operations. The company cited payroll, cross-border transfers, and continuous liquidity as key use cases for these assets.
According to Ripple, finance teams are shifting their focus from questioning the use of digital assets to deploying them without disrupting existing treasury operations. This is reflected in a recent survey of over 1,000 finance leaders, where 72% believed they had to offer a digital asset solution to remain competitive, and 74% saw stablecoins as improving cash-flow efficiency.
RLUSD targets a one-dollar value and remains redeemable one-for-one against U.S. dollars under applicable terms. As of September 3, Ripple's transparency page showed $2.3956 billion in circulating RLUSD and $2.5177 billion in reserve funds.
