Ripple Extends NYU Abu Dhabi Partnership Through 2027

Ripple has extended its partnership with New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) through 2027, providing financial support for blockchain research and education.

The company's University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) will continue to fund work led by NYUAD professors Raša Karapandža and Yaw Nyarko, who are focused on determining how decentralized technologies can boost market efficiency and reduce trade barriers.

The renewed grant will also support NYUAD's fintech education and venture-development efforts, allowing students to design and test blockchain-based applications and early-stage ventures.
