Ripple Institutional Infrastructure Seeks to Reshape Global Finance
Ripple's institutional infrastructure is gaining attention as it reshapes global financial connectivity. The framework combines payments, custody, liquidity, and trading into one connected model for tokenized markets.
The proposed stack contains seven Ripple capabilities serving different institutional functions: brokerage, clearing, financing, stable settlement liquidity (RLUSD), neutral bridge liquidity (XRP), issuance, exchange, and ledgering (XRPL). Ripple Payments addresses global value movement across participating financial networks, while Ripple Treasury focuses on enterprise cash and liquidity management.
The sequence runs from origination and tokenization through custody and financing, then moves through trading, collateralization, conversion, settlement, and reconciliation. The proposed transition depends on connected institutions, assets, currencies, and ledgers by 2031.
