Ripple Lands Major Deal in Brazil, Partners with CSD BR for XRP Ledger Securities

Ripple has secured a major deal in Brazil, partnering with CSD BR to bring securities record mirroring onto the XRP Ledger.

The first phase of the project will tokenize and mirror BTG Pactual investment fund shares using XRPL's Multi-Purpose Token standard. This will allow for near-real-time audits, while keeping current market processes intact.

CSD BR's existing systems will remain the official source for registration, deposit, and settlement. The project goes beyond a closed proof of concept by using live transactions within Brazil's regulated financial market infrastructure.
