Ripple Prime Expands Multi-Asset Services for Brevan Howard Funds
Ripple Prime and Brevan Howard have deepened their partnership, with Ripple Prime set to provide multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing, and financing services to funds managed by Brevan Howard. The agreement, announced on October 6, builds on a prior collaboration where Brevan Howard affiliates participated in Ripple’s $500 million strategic investment in 2025. Ripple Prime’s platform will offer access to both traditional and digital asset markets, supporting capital efficiency and operational processes within a regulated framework.
In a separate financial move, Ripple Prime closed a $275 million private placement of senior unsecured notes on August 18, 2026, receiving a BBB investment-grade rating from KBRA. The proceeds will support working capital and the expansion of multi-asset services in the U.S. Additionally, Ripple Prime secured a $200 million debt facility from Neuberger Specialty Finance on May 11, aimed at financing customer positions and increasing lending capacity.
Ripple is also involved in other initiatives, including a pilot project in Uganda focused on delivering parametric insurance to smallholder farmers. The project, announced on September 29, uses Ripple’s settlement technology to provide automatic payouts for events like drought or health emergencies. Separately, Ripple is collaborating with Brazilian securities infrastructure provider CSD BR to create blockchain-based records of investment fund shares using the XRP Ledger.
