Ripple Prime Expands Services to Brevan Howard with Multi-Asset Brokerage
Ripple has deepened its partnership with Brevan Howard, a $35 billion fund manager, by expanding its services to include multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing, and financing through Ripple Prime. This agreement builds on an existing relationship where Brevan Howard participated in Ripple’s $500 million investment round in 2025. The new services are expected to enhance Brevan Howard’s investment teams' operational efficiency and capital management, according to Group Chief Operating Officer Alan McGroarty.
The move comes after Ripple Prime launched U.S. equity swaps in August, following a $275 million senior notes issuance. The platform’s Delta One offering provides exposure to U.S.-listed equities, indexes, and digital assets without requiring direct ownership, catering to hedge funds and asset managers with tailored investment periods and risk requirements.
Ripple Prime’s capabilities stem from its $1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road in 2025, which brought institutional brokerage, clearing, and financing services across traditional and digital assets. The platform holds over $1 billion in regulatory net capital and operates clearing and financing services independently of proprietary trading. The August financing deal, rated BBB by KBRA, attracted institutional investors and added capacity for Ripple Prime’s U.S. operations.
