Ripple Reclaims $1.50: What's Next for XRP?
Ripple's cross-border token has surged to $1.53 per unit on CoinGecko, representing a 53% rebound from its mid-August low of sub-$1.
This price increase is attributed to several factors, including solid institutional interest and whale activity.
Solid institutional interest is evident in the form of spot XRP ETFs, which have posted 10 consecutive green weeks with cumulative net inflows exceeding $1.72 billion.
Whale activity has also contributed to the price surge, with large holders accumulating approximately 1.54 billion tokens worth over $2.2 billion in about 96 hours.
Renowned analyst Ali Martinez revealed that this demand has positively impacted XRP's valuation, arguing that on-chain data suggests there may still be room to run.
According to Martinez, the URPD shows relatively little resistance ahead until $1.60, where around 2.5 billion coins previously changed hands.
Veteran trader Peter Brandt issued a long-term forecast of $5.40 for XRP, while another analyst predicted that if XRP breaks and holds above $1.61, then $1.70 comes into play.
