Ripple Supports FixCleanup3_3_0 Amendment with Validator Support Still Lacking
Ripple has given its support to the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment for XRP, which is part of the xrpld version 3.3.0 upgrade. The amendment aims to improve transaction checks, precision in Automated Market Maker (AMM) operations, and security features.
The upgrade package includes fixes for vaults, lending, AMMs, Checks, and pseudo-accounts. However, it currently lacks support from a sufficient number of validators, with only 8 out of 35 trusted validators voting in favor. The activation threshold is 80%, which means more validator votes are needed to activate the upgrade on the mainnet.
The upgrade package requires two weeks for additional validator votes to be collected. Ripple's support for the amendment indicates its commitment to improving the XRP Ledger and enhancing user experience.
