Ripple Taps PayPal Vet as New Director of Developer Relations
Ripple has made a significant move to expand its XRP Ledger business by hiring Brian Beck as Director of Developer Relations. This appointment comes after years of experience in leadership roles at PayPal and Google, where he oversaw various engineering positions.
Beck's responsibilities will include developer advocacy and technical enablement for teams considering or developing on the XRP Ledger. He will also oversee areas such as developer documentation, tooling, onboarding programs, sample code, hackathons, XRPL grants, partnerships, and feedback from developers and RippleX product teams.
The new role is part of Ripple's ongoing efforts to invest in developer infrastructure and enhance the adoption of the XRP Ledger by enterprises, startups, and real-world blockchain applications. With Beck's expertise, Ripple aims to improve relationships with developers for creating tokenization platforms, stablecoins, DeFi applications, and other blockchain projects on the XRP Ledger.
