Ripple Targets $30 Billion in Tokenized Real-World Assets on XRP Ledger
Ripple has set its sights on tokenizing $30 billion in real-world assets (RWAs) on the XRP Ledger, positioning itself as a direct competitor to traditional financial infrastructure.
The company made this ambitious target clear at its recent event in Seoul, where it outlined a roadmap for making the XRPL the backbone of global tokenized finance.
Ripple's President, Monica Long, highlighted the need for institutions to migrate entire processes on-chain, with the XRPL offering 3-5 second transaction finality and near-zero fees.
The use cases presented in Seoul span several high-volume segments, including tokenized money market funds, Treasury-backed repos, and stablecoin payments.
